           榴莲(英文:Durian)  榴莲的由来原产于婆罗州群岛,为热带水果,东南亚普遍都有种植,其中以泰国的产量最大,质量优良。榴莲有着水果之王的称号,果实从生长至成熟需3-4个月,成熟后的榴莲果肉金黄,风味扑鼻;由于榴莲的特殊味道是因为果实成熟时产生硫化物的关系,所以越熟过头的果实道越重许多人无法接受这样的味道。榴莲的中文名称是来自于马来语Durian音而来,Duri为,an为语尾,意思指的就是「带刺的东西」。榴莲营养成份相当高,含钙、蛋白质、多种维生素、矿物等等,但它的热量与钾含量相当高,所以糖尿病、肾脏病患者及肥胖者应适量;血压高、心律不整的人也要注意,食用的禁忌会比一般水果多。另还有甲伦(干伦、KradumThong)、KanYao等品种。

金枕头：英名:MonThong 简介:椭圆形,卵形,末端突出,中大型果,果皮锈绿色,厚约1.25cm,果肉淡黄色肉质扎实,汁多微甜,平均果重约2-4.5公斤,盛产期约120-135天。Mon泰语意思就是「枕头」,Thong就是指「黄金」,故通称【金枕头】。
